About Me...

I have recently moved to NZ from Sydney Australia and am looking to secure part-time, full-time or casual work as a Nanny with a lovely family.  I have had experience working with all ages groups in both Centre based care and as a solecharge Nanny.  I have completed my Certificate lll in Children's Services so am familiar with age appropriate activities, learning and development and programming and reporting.  I understand each individual child's needs and will engage with them on all levels whilst respecting the family dynamic and working in line with parents.

Working for a lovely family on Thursday, Friday and Saturday 7am-7pm caring for two children aged 6.5 years and 18 months. 

I am responsible for the getting the children up and ready for the day, ensuring the eldest child has a school bag packed with nutritional snacks/lunch & plenty of water, sun hat and sun screen.  School drop off and organising fun daily outings and age appropriate activities for the little one who is with me all day.  School pick-up and attending after school activities/lessons/sports and preparing the evening meal.  I am a responsible driver and happy to drive my employers car. I like planning fun and educational experiences throughout the day, lots of reading encouraging speech. Organising playgroups, Gymbaroo, sports etc. Preparing bottles, bathing the children and settling them for bed time.  I also do a household food shop when required.

Caring for two children aged 5 & 2 years on a temporary basis for full/long days where I was responsible for getting the children up and ready in the morning, breakfast/dressed, school drop off, organising fun outings and age appropriate activities for the day including playgroup.  The elder boy loved soccer, swimming, bike riding, reading and being outside and the little one loved trucks, cars, sandpit and dogs.  They had a labradour named Gerry who was well behaved.  All associated household duties including children's laundry, stacking and unstacking the dishwasher and ensuring the boys rooms were kept clean and tidy.  A lovely family.
