BestStart Harrison Street - Growing a community of lifelong learners

We welcome children from 3 months old to 6 years and our centre is divided into three different rooms to support children’s individual learning and development. You can watch the videos below to see how learning takes place in each of these rooms.

Your child will be provided with a warm and nurturing experience which provides the perfect environment for them to explore and flourish. You and your child will feel a sense of belonging and respect and become a part of our BestStart community. We understand the important role of parents as ‘first teachers’ so value and respect the hopes and expectations you have for your child.

When your child is with us, they will feel right at home in our warm, natural environments whether inside or out. Your family will have access to our community gardens and fruit tress which are spread throughout the grounds. We know your child will develop important skills such as being able to express emotions appropriately, respect the emotions of others, self-regulation and self-confidence through the support of our amazing teaching team.
