BestStart Marshland Road  

Welcome to BestStart Marshland Road (formerly EduKids Marshland). We are a modern early childhood centre that caters for children aged 3 months right up until they are ready to embark on their next learning journey at Primary School.

Our wonderful childcare centre is split into three rooms. We have a cosy Nursery Room which caters specifically for ages 3 months to 2 years, it has its own designated baby area for our youngest children. This nook is great for mums who are breast feeding. Our next age group is our Preschool Room, this room is for children aged 2 to approximately 3.5 years old. This room is a great stepping stone for toddlers to gain new skills. The teachers in this room are particularly nurturing to support this transition. Our last room is our Prepschool Room. This room is for children aged 3.5 years old until they go to school. This room focuses on preparing children for their next learning journey.  Here they gain social skills that will support them in their future learning environments, as well as being introduced to literacy, mathematics and science concepts.

BestStart Marshland is warm and welcoming, a comforting environment to make you feel at ease and your child to feel at home. We take the time to get to know both you and your tamariki. The relationships that we form help us to provide care and education that is focused on your child and their individual development. Our centre provides children with the opportunity to follow their own interests, be creative, imaginative and to have fun. Teachers follow children's interest and provide experiences to extend their learning goals through intentional teaching. We also believe that children learn best through play. Skills and knowledge develop when children engage in experiences they are interested in. Our team at BestStart Marshland believe our role is to assist children to grow up as competent, confident learners, who gain a love for learning at a young age.

BestStart Marshland is located just down the road from The Palms shopping centre. Our central location makes it simple for us to go on weekly excursions to the library. Our location is also on a convenient bus route, which can make dropping off and collecting a breeze.We pride ourselves on the relationships we form, not only with your Tamariki and yourself, but also within the community. We have formed close bonds with Banks Ave Primary School, which supports our transition to school programme. We encourage you to come down and meet our friendly team.
